| 由外貿協會及機械公會共同舉辦的「2016年台北國際塑橡膠工業展將於今年8月12日至16日在台北南港展覽館盛大展出。為協助東南亞當地業者了解我國塑橡膠機械產品優勢並提升Taipei PLAS國際知名度，外貿協會於本年5月30日至6月7日派員前往印尼、泰國及越南辦理說明會，力邀當地機械買主來臺參觀採購。 該展目前有535家參展廠商，使用2,680攤位，規模已創新高，預計將吸引超過110國2,800為國外買主參觀，國內外參觀總人數超過16,800人。為利買主更有效率參觀，首次規劃5大觀展主題，包括四大塑橡膠應用領域：「汽機車零組件」、「3C產品」、「醫療設備」、「包裝材料」，及目前產業研發趨勢「智慧製造」。另外新設立「3D列印區」及「智慧自動化及機器人區」展現最新研發趨勢。 首站說明會於印尼雅加達辦理，由印尼塑橡膠公會及印尼模具公會共同參與，邀請臺灣塑橡膠機械大廠分享印尼塑橡膠機械市場商機與經營之道。會後將並拜訪當地機械業者及相關公協會，為臺灣機械產業與當地業者合作搭橋。另外泰國曼谷將拜訪泰國塑膠產業公會, 泰國工業院（FTI）轄下塑膠業集團（Plastic club），以及泰國機械業公會，越南胡志明市說明會更邀請到越南商工總會（VCCI）駐胡志明市分會共同協辦，廣邀越南買主參與。 邁入工業4.0，結合臺灣資通訊產業優勢，臺灣機械朝向智慧製造方向發展，同時憑藉智慧自動化的產業升級，為客戶量身打造最佳性價比的產品，成為切入東南亞市場的主要利基。2015年臺灣塑橡膠機械出口金額13.49億美元元，出口主力產品是：塑膠射出成型機、押出成型機、中空成型機等。 以機械公會2015年出口統計數字來看以大陸輸出居第一，但第二為越南，美國第三，印尼第四，泰國第五，正可見東南亞市場對塑橡膠機械出口的重要性。「2016年台北國際塑橡膠工業展(Taipei PLAS 2016)」展出時間為8月12日至16日，歡迎至官網做線上登錄，網站：www.taipeiplas.com.tw
