When blending TPE with polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) and other polymers, it can remarkably increase its impact strength and enhance low temperature resistance to use in value-added industrial products, such as medical equipment, auto parts, sports equipment, toys, soft floor mats, helmet linings, etc. TPE has excellent compatibility with tackifying resin to yield environmentally friendly adhesives with a high bonding strength. When both materials are melted and blended together, they are used intensively in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, labels, diaper-fastening tapes and other health supplies. TPEs have a large variety and thus can be made into many kinds of functional foam products with the merits of softness, resilience, energy absorption, etc.
